The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for a Banner Application Developer for the Office of OneIT. The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or at least five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including two years in the area(s) of higher education. This posting will be used to fill two positions.

Essential Job Duties: Supports and maintains the University’s ERP system and other Enterprise application systems.

  • Responsible for implementing systems and initiatives, and troubleshooting current systems.
  • Conducts technical analysis and needs assessments to align information technology solutions with current University initiatives.
  • Reviews analyzes, and documents technical processes with regard to Ellucian Banner and other Enterprise application systems.
  • Implements and/or writes software, including the set-up, testing, and coordination of the integration with the existing software systems.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves problems that arise in the day-to-day operation of the University systems, and monitors support calls assigned to the Enterprise Application staff.
