Job Description:

The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD Albany) is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with extensive experience in the field of autism spectrum disorders. This position involves utilizing professional experience, judgment, and knowledge to perform various research and clinical activities associated with Center programs. This position also participates in Center education/training activities by assisting with implementation and evaluation of project goals, objectives, and outcomes.

The successful candidate will be proficient in research and clinical activities specific to autism, and have significant knowledge as it relates to psychological, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessment measures as well as evidence-based intervention approaches.



Minimum Qualifications: 

Ph.D. or Psy.D in clinical psychology, school psychology, child psychology or related field from a college or university accredited by USDOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization; Licensed to practice Psychology in NYS; Certified as Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral; Previous research and clinical experience (at least 5 years) working with children/youth with autism spectrum disorders; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of research and clinical teams; Ability to periodically travel through NYS. Candidates must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and provide comprehensive, timely, accurate results. Knowledge of psychological, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessment measures, required


Additional Information:

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000
