Compliance Officer
Jefferson Security Bank is seeking a self-motivated, well-organized and experienced Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer is responsible for developing, maintaining and overseeing the Compliance Program to ensure adherence with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
The Compliance Officer works directly with the Board of Directors, management and employees to facilitate a general understanding of banking compliance, to oversee and implement compliance training and to provide guidance and oversight for compliance related issues or concerns. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in bank compliance with a strong knowledge and understanding of all banking regulations, operations and other related consumer banking functions.
The position requires exceptional attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, legal counsel, law enforcement, regulators and examiners while maintaining strict confidentiality.
