FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 

Performs teaching and research duties, which may include clinical instruction.  Clinical Professors are highly-experienced practitioners or teachers who hold full-time, non-tenure track positions.

 

Assists with coordination, performs teaching and guidance duties in the Nurse Practitioner programs. Coordination responsibilities include recruitment of potential applicants, oversee admissions of program applicants, facilitates placement of students in clinical placements, oversees adjuncts teaching in the program, determine curriculum changes, and responds to student issues. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments, performing administrative, supervisory, and other functions as may be assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required and a Doctorate in D.N.P., Ed.D. or Ph.D. degree in Nursing or related field with a MS in Nursing preferred. Also required is the ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

 

A New York State license as a registered nurse or a New York State Nurse Practitioner Licensure (Adult/Gerontology, Family or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) with at least 3 years of clinical practice experience as well as experience teaching graduate level students is strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $90,000 to $139,076 commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
