Controller
Position Summary: Prepares consolidated financial statements with supporting schedules and financial analyses of operations for the guidance of management. Responsible for the company’s financial policies, accounting practices, the maintenance of fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports. Supervision over accounting and sales support employees. Ensures all accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.

Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, external auditors, bankers and other service providers. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required, knowledge of Dynamics desired. Sound financial skills. Internal and external Customer Service Skills; Relationship builder. Position Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting of monthly consolidated financial reports for the company and ensure reports accurately reflect the condition of the businesses and provide reliable information for management decisions.
2. Develop budgets, forecasts, P&L statements and balance sheet to determine financial condition of the company and establish cash requirements.
3. Responsible for implementation and maintenance of all systems necessary for the integrity of the accounting function, accounting policies and procedures; including, internal control of financial transactions and safeguarding of company assets.
4. Assure that transactions of the company are properly recorded, and that accounting and financial records are adequate to provide the needed management information and meet legal requirements. Keep up to date on regulations affecting the company’s accounting procedures and recordkeeping.
5. Assign accounting department duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
6. Responsible for managing taxes (sales, use, property, etc.) for the company.
7. Responsible for the accounts receivable, credit and accounts payable functions.
8. Responsible for overseeing the processing of cash receipts and cash disbursements.
9. Take ownership in our business results and your personal wellness.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential education, licenses, certifications, skills and experience needed for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in all aspects of accounting
