Carpenters and Skilled Laborers
Corman Kokosing Construction, leading heavy highway, bridge, & utility contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region, has openings for:
Carpenters
Bridge/formwork experience. Carpenter Training Program or equivalent, or experience in bridgework, i.e. bridge formwork. AWS or state-certified if welding is part of job and certification required by job owner.
Must be able to work while tied off to fall protection. Also able to work or walk on uneven ground; able to walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Skilled in use of necessary hand and power tools. Able to work with level. Read and understand blueprints, sketches, or bridge plans for information pertaining to type of material required. Able to read tape measure & Lift/move up to 100 pounds
Skilled Laborers
Structural steel experience, previous experience with bridge/road/utility. Must be able to handle basic hand tools, such as a shovel, pick, broom, hammer, saw, paintbrushes, etc.
Light or heavy handling. Job site housekeeping. Flagging. Erect construction signs, cones, etc.
Required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Must pass Flagger Certification test to act as flagger.
