Job Summary: The property manager will oversee and direct property management services for Class-A commercial office buildings and office parks. The position is responsible for the overall coordination of property operations, liaison for communications with tenants, preparation and management of the operating budget, regular reporting to the building owner, collaboration with engineering, security, and help desk service teams, coordinating tenant construction, and managing capital improvement projects.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in real estate management, business, construction, or a related field from an accredited college or university, minimum of three to five years of property management experience, preferably in a commercial real estate management environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates should be active in a real estate trade association such as BOMA or IREM and have (or be pursuing) credentials such as RPA, CPM or similar. Experience in sustainable building operations is desired. LEED AP or Green Associate credentials are preferred.
High degree of proficiency in computer technology and applications typically used in real estate management such as Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, work order systems, and other technology tools; a strong working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
Solid grasp of financial and mathematical practices commonly deployed in the real estate industry such as budgeting, variance reporting, capitalization, amortization, space measurement, operating expense gross ups, rent allocations, and other mathematical concepts involving addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data, blueprints, financial reports and legal documents; effectively communicate with and present information to clients, tenants, and partners.
